DESCRIPTION

Vintage Whimsical Hippo Among Flowers Illustration

A playful vintage illustration featuring a whimsical hippo nestled among curling stems and cheerful flowers inside an elaborately patterned vessel. Fine black linework, soft touches of peach and green, and exaggerated character details give the piece a wonderfully quirky storybook quality.

Presented with a wide turquoise mat that picks up the subtle colors of the illustration, the artwork is signed “Hildi” at the lower right. A charming and eccentric piece of vintage animal art with plenty of personality.
