Vintage Framed Venetian Gondola & Courting Couple Painting

A wonderfully theatrical vintage painting depicting an elegantly dressed couple beside a Venetian gondola, rendered in a lively palette of violet, crimson, gold, green, and soft pastels. The figures appear in elaborate period costume, while the gondola and distant architectural scenery give the composition a romantic, storybook quality.

Signed in the lower right and presented under glass in a decorative dark wood-tone frame with gold detailing, the piece has an unmistakably old-world, Grand Tour-inspired charm.
