DESCRIPTION

Tappo Modular Sofa by John Mascheroni

The Tappo modular sofa by John Mascheroni, with all the low-slung confidence of great 1970s design. Three sculptural seating modules create a relaxed, architectural silhouette, upholstered here in a wonderfully unexpected dusty mauve with broad, softly angled backs.

The accompanying upholstered ottoman/table continues the modular geometry and adds a contrasting wood inset top—a clever detail that gives the piece equal footing as a footrest or low table. Graphic, comfortable, and distinctly of its era, this is the kind of modular design that looks just as good pulled apart as it does grouped together.
