DESCRIPTION
Splatted Vintage Side Table
A wonderfully sculptural vintage side table crafted from a thick natural slab of richly figured wood set atop an organic root-form base. The irregular live edge preserves the raw contours of the tree, giving the piece a one-of-a-kind silhouette with beautiful knots, openings, grain variations, and natural imperfections throughout.
The substantial top has warm reddish-brown tones and dramatic swirling grain, while the rugged base gives the table an almost sculptural, found-in-nature quality. Rustic without feeling overly traditional, it works beautifully beside a sofa or lounge chair and can just as easily stand alone as a pedestal for art or ceramics.
