DESCRIPTION
Vintage Rosewood Jardiniere with Rouge Marble
Rich rosewood and a rouge marble insert give this vintage jardiniere its material depth. The contrast between dark wood and warm stone makes the piece feel decorative even before anything is placed on it, while its compact scale lets it work as a plant stand, occasional table, or pedestal.
The previous listing identified the piece as Chinese and late 19th century, but without maker or provenance documentation we are keeping the customer-facing description focused on the verified materials and form rather than presenting that origin or date as authenticated. We'd pair it with a sculptural plant, ceramic vessel, or small lamp and let the marble remain visible.
