DESCRIPTION

Butterfly Study Board Textile Wall Art with Colorful Embroidered Butterflies

A wonderfully tactile butterfly study rendered in colorful yarn against a dusty blue ground. Five butterflies and moths are worked in bold combinations of cobalt, orange, red, purple, yellow, pink, and black, with raised stitching that gives each wing its own graphic pattern and texture.

Part entomology display, part fiber art, this one has a playful handmade quality that feels especially good at a larger scale. The slightly irregular stitching and vivid palette give it plenty of personality without taking itself too seriously.
