DESCRIPTION
Vintage Modernist Square Plinth Table
Low, square, and deliberately architectural, this vintage modernist plinth table gets its character from pure geometry rather than ornament. The block-like form gives it the presence of a small pedestal, making the table feel equally suited to holding an object or becoming the object itself.
We'd use it next to a low lounge chair, at the end of a sofa, or beneath a sculptural lamp where the clean silhouette can stay visible. It works especially well in a room that already has texture and curves, because the strong square form introduces a crisp counterpoint without adding visual clutter.
