DESCRIPTION
1970s Wood & Chrome End Table
Warm wood and reflective chrome give this 1970s end table the material contrast that makes the decade so easy to mix into contemporary rooms. The wood keeps the piece grounded, while the chrome introduces a sharper, cooler line that prevents it from reading like a conventional all-wood side table.
We'd place it beside a low lounge chair or seating and keep the top simple so the two materials stay visible. It works especially well in rooms with leather, wool, or textured upholstery, where the chrome can add a clean flash without making the whole space feel glossy.
