DESCRIPTION
Vintage Chinoiserie Octagonal Glass Top Coffee Table
An octagonal silhouette, inset glass top, and richly detailed Chinoiserie-inspired finish give this vintage coffee table a layered, decorative presence. The dark wood base is accented with hand-painted floral motifs, delicate gold-tone scrollwork, shaped aprons, and a scalloped gilt border around the glass.
At just over fifty-two inches square, it has enough scale to anchor a larger seating area while the glass top keeps the piece visually lighter. We'd keep the surface relatively spare so the painted base and gilt detailing remain visible.
