DESCRIPTION
Antique Compact Bench
This antique bench has a compact footprint and upright profile that makes it especially useful in smaller spaces. At just over twenty-two inches wide, it can sit at the end of a hallway, beside a dressing area, or in an entry without feeling like a full-size piece of seating.
We'd use it as the older note in a room with cleaner furniture rather than surrounding it with more period pieces. A woven rug, contemporary art, or a simple wall color would let the age and proportions stand out without making the space feel themed.
