DESCRIPTION
Vintage Chinese-Style Entry Table & Desk
A shallow profile gives this vintage Chinese-style table unusual flexibility. At just under fourteen inches deep, it can live in an entry or hallway without crowding the passage, while the forty-inch width still gives it enough surface to function as a compact writing table or display console.
We'd keep the styling spare and let the form carry the decorative character: one lamp, a small stack of books, or a single vessel is enough. It works especially well against a plain wall where its older design language can contrast with contemporary art and cleaner surrounding furniture.
