DESCRIPTION
Vintage Kelly Green Alky Lounge Chair by Giancarlo Piretti
Kelly green gives this vintage Alky lounge chair its playful presence. The upholstery makes color part of the furniture itself rather than something added afterward with a cushion or throw. It is an Italian design that can set the direction of a room without needing a matching suite around it.
Giancarlo Piretti's Alky design for Castelli is defined by soft lines, offering a different mood from formal, upright seating. Here, that design identity meets a confident green covering: the model and the color are equally important to its appeal.
We'd give it a quiet backdrop and pair it with a dark wood or glass table, letting the green do the work. A graphic print nearby could pick up its playful side without turning the room into a color-matched set.
