Cream upholstery and a generous square ottoman give this vintage lounge pairing its laid-back character. The ottoman is more substantial than a little footstool, with a height that matches the chair seat and a scale that invites you to draw the two pieces together. Offered in the style of Selig's Playpen seating, the set is about making room to settle in.
The pale upholstery leaves room for bolder choices elsewhere. We'd set the pair against a deep-colored wall or a patterned rug, letting the lounge arrangement stay simple while the surroundings supply the contrast.
