DESCRIPTION
1970s Daystrom Chrome Cantilever Chairs, Set of 6
Chrome cantilever frames give this set of six vintage Daystrom dining chairs the unmistakable lightness of 1970s modern seating. Listed by Sunbeam on Chairish as a Jerry Johnson design for Daystrom, the chairs trade traditional rear legs for a continuous metal line, creating a cleaner profile and a little visual tension around the table.
They are especially good with a glass, lacquer, or warm wood table where the chrome can stay visible. We'd keep the rest of the room tactile rather than shiny: a wool rug, linen, leather, or a textured wall gives the polished frames something to play against. As a full set of six, they bring repetition and designer-era character without feeling formal.
